You can’t blame a season on one man. Especially if that man is throwing to second rate receivers behind a high school talent level offensive line. Orton would have been out with injury for the season this year with the Bears. Jay Cutler has the potential to be an All Pro quarterback again, but not without help. Did I forget to mention the excellent run offense the Bears have this year. That has helped a lot in this years record also.
well enjoy those 20 INT’s and constant whining. we will GLADLY take the high draft pick the Bears are giving us. thank you Jerry Angelo.
Did the Bears even look into the trade before they said yes. Did they not see Cutler’s INT #s, did they not see him being spoiled on the sidelines, did they not see his post game interview demeanor of being a baby. No all they saw was “Franchise QB” and that’s where they went wrong.
One more losing season and Cutler is going to want out of Chicago.

And for all the Donkey fans and Cutler haters out there, I have to disagree with his “crybaby factor” at this point. He has not made any bad comments to the press about his teammates. Lets not forget that he does his best to manage Type 2 Diabetes on Sundays all while not getting injured with a pourous O line.

If Cutler played for the Nets, they would still be winnless. Put Brook Lopez at QB for the Bears, and the Bears would have 6 wins so far.
Jay’s problems in Chicago vindicate Denver’s decision to trade him. Bronco fans were calling for Josh McDaniels’ head in Denver after the Broncos traded Jay. Well, Kyle Orton is not putting up Jay-like yardage numbers in Denver, but he has more TDs than interceptions for the Broncos even though Denver slumped after a 6-0 start. Kyle has a 16-8 TD-to-INT ratio, whereas Jay’s stats(19 TDs, 22 INTs) are nothing to brag about. And Kyle has the Broncos in playoff contention while the Bears are most likely out of the playoffs. Are you having second thoughts about forcing your way out of Denver, Jay?
